AUSTIN, Texas — Highs on Saturday were about 15 degrees or more below average for this time of the year. Cooler than average weather will continue for Sunday, but overall the afternoon should trend a few degrees warmer.
Isolated showers brought some spotty rainfall today, but we're expecting most of these showers to diminish through this evening. It will be a chilly Sunday morning with widespread 40s to start the day. The afternoon will feature a partly sunny sky with highs ranging from the mid 60s to around 70. Aside from a passing morning sprinkle or light shower, Sunday should stay dry.
Temperatures will trend warmer to start the upcoming week. In fact, Monday may briefly return to the 80s just ahead of our first cold front of the week. This front will move through without any rain, however, a second system will bring widespread rain and storms on Friday. There may even be a few strong storms to end the week. The KVUE Storm Team will continue to monitor the forecast as we get closer.
Mostly cloudy and chilly with a slight chance of rain. North wind at 5 to 15 mph gusting up to 20 mph.
Partly sunny skies and mild. North-northeast wind at 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph possible.
