Forecast: Pleasant weather again for Tuesday; warmth and humidity build late week

Here are the latest updates from the KVUE Weather Team.

AUSTIN, Texas — We hope everyone has had a chance to get outside to enjoy the great weather across Central Texas on this Earth Day! This evening will be pleasant with temperatures falling to the mid 50s under a mostly clear to partly cloudy sky by Tuesday morning.

Lingering low clouds Tuesday morning will give way to afternoon sunshine. It won't be quite as cool, but afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s which is still a few degrees below average for this time of the year.

Warmer temperatures and humidity will return for the middle and end of this week. This means that morning low clouds and drizzle will be possible each day. As far as proper storm chances, we won't see those until Friday at the earliest.

A few rounds of rain and storms will be possible Friday and through this upcoming weekend. As of now, it looks like the primary risk for severe weather will stay north of our area, but we'll have more specifics on this more unsettled weather pattern in the coming days.
