AUSTIN, Texas — The severe threat has ended tonight for Central Texas, but there will still be lingering rain and storms overnight. We still can't rule out pockets of locally heavy rain and minor flooding.
Lingering rain Saturday morning will gradually clear through the early to mid morning hours. The afternoon on Saturday will be primarily dry.
Although totals across the metro will likely be unimpressive, parts of the Hill Country could see 2" to 5" of rainfall is some spots. Again, this could produce local flooding issues, so please be very mindful if traveling tonight.
The Weather Prediction Center is highlighting parts of Mason, Llano, Gillespie, Blanco, and Burnet counties for the core of our flooding potential.
The KVUE Storm Team will continue to closely monitor this developing forecast.
