AUSTIN, Texas — After some scattered showers this morning, a 10% rain chance remains for Tuesday afternoon but, for the most part, expect a mostly sunny sky and highs around 100 degrees.
As high pressure builds in from the west, expect more triple-digit heat each afternoon through at least Friday.
The hottest day is likely Wednesday with a high of around 102 for Austin.
Not only will our temperatures be slightly above average, but the forecast also stays dry. Rain will have a hard time forming as high pressure takes control of our weather at least through the weekend.
The KVUE Storm Team will continue to monitor the forecast.
