Hawaiian Airlines offering chance to win trip to Hawaii through scavenger hunt

Hawaiian Airlines is "bringing the window seat to Austin" through a two-day interactive scavenger hunt.

AUSTIN, Texas — Pack your bags and your sunscreen because Hawaiian Airlines is offering the chance to win a free trip to Hawaii if participants win a scavenger hunt!

Hawaiian Airlines is "bringing the window seat to Austin" through a two-day interactive scavenger hunt, its press release states. This comes a year and a half after Hawaiian Airlines began its nonstop service to Honolulu in April 2021 from Austin.

The scavenger hunt starts on Sept. 30 and ends on Oct. 1, taking place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. The hunt will take place at The Domain in the former Amazon store on Rock Rose Avenue next to Sephora, located at 11410 Century Oaks Terrace.

The scavenger hunt will lead participants through a brightly-colored rainbow installation, where they will look into a virtual airplane window that gives the illusion of landing in Hawaii. A pilot's voice will encourage participants to find three other virtual airplane windows to find clues.

These clues will be found through virtual QR codes that participants scan when they discover them. As they go through the hunt, Hawaiian Airlines employees will support participants by teaching them different facts about the Hawaiian Islands.

After completing the hunt, participants will be entered to win a myriad of prizes, including a first-class ticket to Hawaii.
