American Airlines adds 2 new flights from Austin airport this summer

Flights to the two U.S. locations begin in early June.

AUSTIN, Texas — Travelers flying out of Austin this summer will have two new destinations available thanks to American Airlines.

The North Texas airline announced it is launching new seasonal service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Santa Ana, California, and Bozeman, Montana. American Airlines will also relaunch seasonal service from Austin to Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

“We are thrilled to keep building on our record growth in Austin by providing local travelers more nonstop flights to beaches and mountains for their summer travel plans,” Brian Znotins, American Airlines vice president of network planning, said in a release.

Daily fights to Santa Ana begin on June 3 and weekly Saturday flights to Bozeman begin on June 4. Saturday flights to Destin-Fort Walton Beach also begin June 4.

Flights to Santa Ana and Bozeman are the 33rd and 34th destinations added to American's network from Austin since 2021. Earlier in 2022, American Airlines announced new service from Austin to Cozumel, Mexico and Montego Bay, Jamaica. That makes a total of eight international routes now offered from Austin by American.
