Two people pinned down after wreck involving SUV and semi truck on SH 130

Paramedics said a total of five patients were involved in the wreck.

AUSTIN, Texas — Two people were pinned down after a major crash involving an SUV and a semi truck on SH 130 near Manor just before 11 a.m Saturday. 

The patients were removed and taken to a hospital, a third underage patient was flown to Dell Children's Medical Center.

One individual was extracted from their car before 11:30 a.m. and transported to South Austin Medical Center with critical life-threatening injuries. 

Another individual was taken to a hospital for potentially "serious injuries." 

Just before noon, paramedics said they managed to get the second pinned victim out and they were being prepared for transport with potentially serious injuries

Just before 12:30 p.m. paramedics announced all patients were gone from the scene. The fifth person initially thought to be a patient was not.

It’s unclear what caused the wreck. This is a developing story and we'll continue to provide updates as we learn more.
