Tech Tuesday: Company offers SXSW attendees a quick way to get around Austin

Traffic is expected to be worse than in years past for SXSW, but a company is hoping to help with the headache with cars that can be rented for minutes, hours or days.

AUSTIN, Texas — A company called SHARE NOW, formerly known as car2go, is again bringing its services to SXSW this year.

SHARE NOW is a company that allows you to rent a car for minutes, hours or days. This year, to help with congestion, the company will again offer "drop zones" around Austin to make it easy for people visiting the festival, but under the name SHARE NOW, instead of car2go.

The three drop zone locations during the festival will be at 400 East 4th Street, 700 San Jacinto Boulevard and 300 Barton Springs Road.

You do have to be a member to use the company's service.
