AUSTIN, Texas — The University of Texas athletics department confirmed on Tuesday that Tom Herman has added four football analysts to his staff.
Two of which you may recognize.
Larry Fedora, who was recently fired as the University of North Carolina Tar Heels head coach after a 2-9 season, is one of the new hires to Herman's staff. Fedora owns a 79-62 overall head coaching record at both UNC and the University of Southern Mississippi.
Fedora will be joined by his son, Dillon Fedora, working as a Longhorns football analyst.
Dillon served a similar role at North Carolina, where he was a quality control assistant for the Tar Heels.
Another familiar face or name, Andre Coleman. He was on Bill Snyder's coaching staff at Kansas State the past six years. Coleman was most recently the Wildcats' receivers coach/offensive coordinator.
Rounding out the latest football analysts added to the Longhorns' staff is Paul Williams. He was the defensive backs coach for the Houston Cougars last season.
Williams has over two decades of college coaching experience. Prior to the University of Houston, Williams coached at Illinois, Miami (FL), Temple University and Western Michigan.
