AUSTIN, Texas — No. 9 Texas suffered its same fate from game one against No. 22 TCU. A late-inning comeback sent the Horns home with a 12-8 loss.

Texas appeared in its same groove from Saturday's win. Ryan Reynolds helped the cause in the sixth inning, roping one down the right-field side, driving in Eric Kennedy. That pushed Texas' lead to 7-2.

But TCU was not going out easy. a three-run home run and a five-run eighth inning pulled the rug out from under the Longhorns. Texas couldn't recover the lead. Texas dropped the finale to lose the series, 12-8.
