Freshman star Mo Bamba sat out Tuesday's game against New Hampshire with a concussion. But it didn't seem to slow down the Longhorns attack.
Dylan Osetkowski was the leading scorer with 17 points. Andrew Jones added 16, as UT grabbed the lead on the strength of first half three pointers and never looked back.
Texas led 39-25 at halftime. Five UT players scored in double digits as coach Shaka Smart was able to empty the bench at the end of the 2nd half.
Texas plays Lipscomb at the Erwin Center on Saturday.
UT has a possible tournament date with number one Duke next week, if both teams win their opening games on Thanksgiving Day.
