Jordan Spieth says marriage hasn't hurt his golf game

Spieth prepares for the Dell Match Play Championship in Austin.

AUSTIN, Texas — Jordan Spieth is only 25-years-old, but he’s become a fixture on the PGA Tour, playing in major championships, and he is now married.

Spieth married Annie in November of last year and he was asked on Tuesday if marriage was good or bad for his golf game.

“Neutral or good,” Spieth said to laughter from the media.

Spieth hasn’t seemed to have his 'A-game' lately on the course, missing the cut at his last PGA event.

“For me it’s like I go to work like anybody else goes to work,” said Spieth. “When you’re at work you want to be 100% there and when you’re home you want to be 100% there.”

Does he bring the emotions of a bad round of golf home with him?

“I struggle a bit with that, absolutlely,” said Spieth. “Like anybody does. Certainly need to work on that, but she’s been great about helping me work on that.”
