$2K offered for one NFL fan to betray their team, spend the season supporting rivals

Applications close on Oct. 4.

AUSTIN, Texas — CableTV.com has offered $2,000 for an NFL super-fan to abandon their team loyalty and watch the rest of the season wearing their most-hated team's jersey.

The winning fan will be chosen on Oct. 11 through an application process that closes on Oct. 4. The winner will be required to post updates on their social media accounts wearing the rival's gear throughout the season.

Applicants will be asked to give a 200-word or less explanation on why they should be chosen and to send an optional, but recommended, submission video.
