Former Longhorn running back Ricky Williams is trying to start a new pro football league. He's teaming up with about 50 other former NFL players to form the Freedom Football League.

Williams was on ESPN's Outside the Lines on Thursday, saying, "It's a new spring football league and it's for the fans and it's by the players. It started with a bunch of guys sitting around the table talking about the good old days. What if we started the league and made it about developing young men."

Terrell Owens is among the other players involved.
