St. Edward's University men's basketball to co-host NCAA tournament regional

AUSTIN, Texas — Andre Cook's Hilltoppers men's basketball program experienced one of the best NCAA Division II seasons in the country.

St. Edward's University owns a 27-3 overall record and captured the Heartland Conference Tournament title in Tulsa on Sunday.

Late Sunday night, the Hilltoppers were informed by the NCAA that St. Edward's will co-host the South Central Region with West Texas A&M.

St. Edward's earned the two seed in this regional and will face Angelo State University on campus in the first round.

Lubbock Christian University and Colorado School of the Mines will be making the trip to Austin as well.
