Margaret Moore defeated Assistant District Attorney Gary Cobb in the race for Travis County District Attorney on Tuesday.

As of 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Moore had 59.8 percent of the vote, with Cobb getting 34 percent and Rick Reed, who dropped out of the race Tuesday morning, had around 6 percent.

Sally Hernandez won the democratic nomination for Travis County Sheriff, defeating Todd Radford, Don X. Rios and John Sisson. Hernandez has 50.8 percent of votes cast. Radford is in second with 21.5 percent of the vote.

Joe G. Martinez was the only candidate on the republican side, and will face off against Hernandez in November.
