The wall on the side of Jo's Coffee on South Congress has become an icon in Austin, serving as the background for numerous photos of tourists and Austinites alike.
"It's a very Instagram-able place," one visitor told KVUE.
Recently, the wall was defaced with an expletive spray-painted over the mural. The next day, an artist restored it, but it had to be removed so a protective cover could be placed over the wall to prevent future vandalization.
Now, the mural is back, and hopefully here to stay.
