GEORGETOWN, Texas — Several hours after the City of Georgetown reported a water outage in a neighborhood, the city said, "water to all 300 customers affected should be back to normal at this time."
The city tweeted Thursday that a contractor had struck a 12-inch water main, which feeds about 150 homes in the Highlands at Mayfield Ranch. That caused residents to experience low to no water pressure.
At around 12:45 a.m. Friday, the city said they had completed flushing all water mains in the neighborhood.
