Warrant roundup to begin in San Marcos next week

SAN MARCOS, Texas — If you've got overdue tickets in San Marcos, it's time to pay up.

San Marcos police are warning people to take care of them, because next week, the department is launching a "warrant roundup." That means officers will arrest people with outstanding tickets or citations.

Some fees will be waived if residents pay by Sept. 25. After that, "concentrated warrant enforcement" begins.
