An ABC television show is filming a pilot episode in Smithville, Austin and San Antonio and they are looking for extras!
According to a Facebook post from the Smithville Film Commission, Brock/Allen Casting is looking for people to act as background extras in a possible new television show for ABC Studios called 'The Gospel of Kevin.'
If selected, the extras will portray high school students.
The casting company is searching for males and females of all ethnicities between the ages of 17 and 30 for shoot taking place in Smithville on Tuesday and Wednesday.
If you would like to help out on Tuesday, they are filming at Smithville Junior High. You can go to the gym and check in. Wear regular clothes you would wear to school or to work out but no bright colors, logos or white.
Brock/Allen Casting said they will continue shooting the pilot in Austin on Friday. For that shoot, they are looking for people with a 'military-style look.'
On Monday, March 20, they will be filming at the San Antonio airport and are casting extras to portray airport travelers.
Applicants are advised that the filming could last from 8 to 12 hours, but they will be paid $64 for 8 hours and guaranteed overtime if it goes longer.
