Sheriff's office meeting with Round Rock neighborhood impacted by vehicle burglaries

In early December, at least 10 vehicles were broken into in the Paloma Lake neighborhood.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — The Williamson County Sheriff's Office wants to hear from residents of one Round Rock neighborhood about a recent uptick in crime Tuesday night.

Surveillance video captured in the Paloma Lake subdivision in early December -- showed people breaking into at least 10 vehicles in one night.

Sheriff Robert Chody said one adult and four juveniles were arrested in connection to the burglaries.

Deputies will host a community meeting with neighbors at Linda Harrington Elementary School at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18.
