ORIGINAL STORY: TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas -- Authorities are continuing their search for a man who went missing after he was last seen standing on a sandbar near Bob Wentz Park June 10.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office said the Hispanic male in his 20s reportedly swam out to a small island in Lake Travis not far from the point at Bob Wentz Park. TCSO said friends saw him relaxing on land, but about 30 to 45 minutes later, his friends looked back at the island and didn't see him.

He was last seen wearing black and red swim trunks, authorities said.

The sheriff's office reported that night that the search had been ongoing for hours with the DPS conducting aerial searches and the Jonestown Police Department assisting with sonar searches. Officials said public address announcements were also made throughout the area to get the person's attention.

According to the sheriff's office, a dive team was on site Monday starting at 7 a.m. as sonar and aerial searches continue. The search will continue Tuesday, TCSO said.

Officials said this is the fourth missing person call recently in the Lake Travis area.
