SAN MARCOS -- A 10-year-old cat was stuck in a tree for 24-hours until the San Marcos Fire Department rescued him on Monday.
Bowie's owner was unsure if the SMFD did this type of rescue, but to her delight the SMFD came out and rescued the cat.
Bowie was scared and dehydrated, but he is doing OK.
