KYLE, Texas — Kyle police are investigating a suspicious death of a two-year-old who police say died on July 4, a City of Kyle spokesperson confirmed.
The spokesperson said police responded to a medical call at the 300 block of Marquitos Drive around 6 p.m. There, the boy was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the residence.
Police say the death is being viewed as suspicious because police are still investigating and have not confirmed if he died from a medical condition. The autopsy is expected to be returned in six to eight weeks.
As of Wednesday, the City spokesperson said police are still interviewing family members and no arrests or charges have been made.
Officials reported that there was a second child in the home at the time who was voluntarily taken to an Austin-area hospital that same day, but no other details were available.
