AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department on Tuesday identified a pedestrian killed early Saturday morning after being struck by a truck on Interstate Highway 35.
Police said Laura Wray, 58, was travelling eastbound near the 6900 block of North I-35 when she was struck by a Ford F-150 travelling southbound around 1:02 a.m.
Wray was pronounced dead on scene at 1:48 a.m.
The Austin Police Department is currently investigating this case. Anyone with more information is asked to contact police at (512) 974-3761.
This is Austin's fourth fatal traffic crash so far this year, resulting in four fatalities.
