AUSTIN -- Police have identified the body found in Lady Bird Lake on Tuesday as 84-year-old Ramona Hernandez DeLopez.
According to Sarah Scott with the Travis County Medical Examiner, the cause of death is drowning.
Officials originally reported a water rescue at 305 South Congress Avenue near Barton Springs Road and West Riverside Drive, then called off the rescue when the body was discovered.
