Man attacked, killed by dog in South Austin early Saturday, officials say

Officials told KVUE's Tony Plohetski the incident happened near E. Ben White Boulevard and Burleson Road.

AUSTIN, Texas — A man experiencing homelessness was attacked and killed by a dog early May 14, officials told KVUE's Tony Plohetski.

The incident happened shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday near E. Ben White Boulevard and Burleson Road.

The victim's name hasn't been released as officials are attempting to locate his family. No other details were immediately available.
