Headaches? Drowsy? Sneezing? Cedar season arrives in Austin and social media reacts

Cedar pollen has taken flight and found it's way to many peoples' sinuses. The reaction on social media towards the unwelcomed visitor on Friday was justified.

AUSTIN — With a gust of wind and a stretch of cold temperatures, cedar season arrived in Central Texas and it has left many Austinites grabbing the tissues and allergy medications.

Either way, we are with you Austin. Cedar season is the worst!

We get it cedar pollen... you're back. Can you go away now?

The strong winds we had Thursday night and into Friday morning have really helped to make the cedar pollen worse today.

For anyone out there struggling in Central Texas, we are with you.

So if you struggle this time of year, remember to take your medicine. So you can avoid looking like this.
