GoFundMe accounts have been created for the families of some of the victims killed in a car accident involving a chartered bus carrying Huston-Tillotson University's baseball team late Saturday night.

According to the Department of Public Safety, June Smith, 18, Isabella Torres, 17, and Taylor Mendez, 17, all of Round Rock, were killed in the crash that happened off of State Highway 71 on Fall Creek Road. The car they were in collided with a chartered bus that was carrying the university's baseball team. No coaches or players were injured in the crash.

Mendez was a junior at Round Rock High School and Torres was a junior at McNeil High School, according to a GoFundMe created to cover their funeral expenses.

In the GoFundMe account created for Smith, the account's creator said "she had a beatiful [sic] smile and big heart, she had a beatiful [sic] soul and would light up the room when she walked in."

Monday, a student at Round Rock High School told KVUE that several students didn't go to school because they were too upset about what happened.

"Everyone has been talking about it and how sad it's been that such like sweet sociable friendly girls could get inot such a bad car accident and die from it," said Sophomore Summer Sledge. "I think that there's been a lot of support going out to the families and a lot of the friends, so there's for sure been a lot of social  media posts about it so everyone knows about it."
