AUSTIN, Texas — After a thrilling game where the Longhorns beat the Georgia Bulldogs 28-21, Sam Ehlinger was given the MVP trophy. He took his trophy to the stands where his family and friends were waiting for him.

Of course, it wasn't only his family and friends that noticed his performance. The entire Longhorn nation broke out in cheer after the big win led by the quarterback. Also, a former Dallas Cowboys TE, Jason Witten, noticed and gave Ehlinger a shout-out on Twitter.

Ehlinger was quick to respond with gratitude.

Ehlinger had three rushing touchdowns for the game as well, breaking the Longhorns' record for most rushing touchdowns in a single-season by a quarterback. His record now sits at the top with 16 rushing touchdowns in a season.
