37th Street just got a bit stranger.
The residents of a home on 37th Street created a display resembling the Byers' living room from the Netflix original show 'Stranger Things'. In a picture shared on Reddit, the front yard of the house pays homage to the Christmas lights featured in the first season of the show. There's the vintage couch, candles, and a wall that says 'Merry Christmas' in a font used from the show.
This house on 37th Street is just one of the many houses there that go all out with Christmas lights and decorations. In a holiday tradition that started over two decades ago, the street is lit up with lights from end to end, creating a fun Austin holiday tradition.
The Netflix original drama starring Winona Ryder is set in a small Indiana town in 1983. The science fiction storyline highlights the mystery of a missing 12-year-old boy. 'Stranger Things' is one of Netflix's most popular original shows being ranked 9 out of 10 on IMDb.com.
