Family of 22-year-old killed in Greece giving free trip, taking applications

The Bakari Foundation is taking applications to give a travel experience to a family who has suffered a similar loss.

AUSTIN, Texas — After a tragic loss, the family of a slain Austin man wants to give back.

The Bakari Foundation was created in honor of Bakari Henderson, a 22-year-old who was murdered in Greece in 2017.

The Henderson family is now honoring his life and his love for travel by offering to send a family who's suffered a similar loss on an all-expenses-paid, transformative travel experience.

The family must have lost their loved one at the hands of another in the past two years.

Applications must be submitted by March 10. Click here for more information.
