Mr. McConaughey shared his thoughts on how the Austin Longhorns were playing and it was more than "alright, alright, alright."

AUSTIN — In the midst of Matthew McConaughey's busy schedule, he made time to visit the University of Texas football practice Wednesday.

The Texas football team shared a photo of the actor at their practice with the caption, "Family is always welcome."

Mr. McConaughey shared his thoughts on how the Longhorns were playing and it was more than "alright, alright, alright."

McConaughey said, "The ambiance of the whole team on both sides was different today than it was when I was here last year. No one needed a kick start here today so the energy was good."

This isn't the first time McConaughey has shown his support for UT sports. In October, the actor was captured striking a pose while giving a speech to the UT basketball team during their practice.
