AUSTIN — Families in Caldwell County are coming to Austin Thursday to make their case against a proposed landfill.
Since July 2017, County leaders have been pushing for an environmental park near State Highway 130 in Lockhart that would include a landfill. The company in charge of the project is currently in the permitting process.
Critics will host a news conference Thursday at the state capitol building at 10 a.m. to discuss their complaints with the proposal.
