AUSTIN -- Two fisherman discovered a body floating in the water at Lady Bird lake around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Police have identified the body as 25-year-old Eron David Wrublik.
Investigators say Wrublik went downtown with his friends on Thursday night. He hailed an Uber car to get home to Rainey Street, but the driver dropped him off outside the Holiday Inn near Interstate 35 around 2:30 Friday morning.
Police believe Wrublik starting walking close to the water and somehow fell in.
On Saturday, several people spotted the body floating in the water.
Police do not suspect foul play, but they're looking for people who were with him Thursday night or any witnesses who may have seen him early Friday morning.
Police are also waiting for toxicology reports.
