One dead, one injured in suspicious death incident in southwest Austin, APD says

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department (APD) said officers were at the scene of a suspicious death Friday afternoon.

According to the department, officers responded to the incident in the 6500 block of Aden Lane in southwest Austin. The APD said one person was found dead at a home and another person was injured and transported to the hospital. The APD said the two individuals are related.

The incident is under investigation and being treated as a suspicious death, APD said.

Officers are asking people to void the area. The APD said this is an isolated incident and there is not a danger to the public.
