"Bidi Bidi Bom Bom," all the limited-edition Selena bags are almost "gone gone"!
Fans across Texas are proving they will do 'anything for Selenas' by standing in long lines at H-E-B to get their hands on the new limited-edition Selena Quintanilla reusable bag.
H-E-B officially started selling the tote in stores and online at 9 a.m. Friday and fans were up bright an early to make sure they got one.
Some Austinites who were fortunate enough to get one, shared their pictures with KVUE:
Anything for Selenas
According to a few KVUE viewers, some H-E-B locations have already sold out of the Queen of Cumbia's bag. Twitter users reached out to HEB saying that the site is down and HEB responded saying that they are aware of the issue and are working on resolving this as soon as possible.
This is what we saw when we tried to access the website.
Although the Selena bag retails for just $2 at H-E-B, one seller on Ebay is offering a single Selena bag for $50.
H-E-B said it was working with the Selena Foundation to ensure a portion of the proceeds from bag sales would benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Coastal Bend. The company said it would be involved in the distribution and use of the funds to the Boys & Girls Club, who is a long-time nonprofit partner of H-E-B.
