Family feud: Six of Arizona congressman's siblings endorse his opponent

In a campaign video, six out of nine siblings endorsed their brother's opponent in a congressional election. Congressman Paul Gosar's brother called on voters to "Vote Paul out."

ARIZONA — Six out of nine of Republican Congressman Paul Gosar's siblings endorsed his opponent, Democrat David Brill, in a campaign video.

Gosar is running for a congressional re-election in Arizona's fourth district against Brill.

The Brill for Congress campaign twitter tweeted, "The Gosar siblings defend their honor and endorse Dr. David Brill for Congress." The campaign video titled, "Paul Gosar Is Not Working for You Long" is linked to the tweet.

In the video, Gosar's siblings encourage people to not re-elect their brother for congress.

"If he actually cared about people in rural Arizona, I bet he'd be fighting social security for better access to healthcare," his sister Jennifer said. Towards the end of the video, Tim said that his brother "doesn't have (the voters') interests at heart."

Paul Gosar responded to the video with a tweet of his own, referring to his siblings as "liberal democrats who hate President Trump."

Arizona's general election takes place November 6, 2018.
