The second installment in Star Wars' third trilogy premiered in the U.S. midnight Thursday.
The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domnhall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels and more. Director Rian Johnson's film clocks in at just over two and a half hours, and Thursday fans at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar location got an extended Star Wars experience with bands, costumed stormtroopers and a live rendition of Star Wars music.
