The person who was punched after the game reportedly had to get surgery.

AUSTIN, Texas — Police at the University of Texas have released video of a man they said punched someone after a Texas football game against the University of Southern California in September.

A man wearing a burnt orange T-shirt and a dark hat was allegedly seen punching another man on the south side of the UT Tower after the game on Sept. 15, 2018.

According to KVUE's media partners at the Austin American-Statesman, the police department said it took a few months to get a hold of the video. The man who was punched in the face had to get surgery due to a broken eye socket, the Statesman reported.
