AUSTIN, Texas — A couple in North Austin didn't just sit by when they said someone started rummaging through their car.

Their Ring cameras caught the moment someone was trying to steal things from one of their cars, when a woman walked out of the house and chased the alleged thief.

Moments later, her husband followed, also chasing after the thief.

Both the man and woman wanted to remain anonymous but the man told KVUE the incident happened Saturday afternoon at around 4:50 p.m. in a neighborhood near Anderson Mill Road.

The man said they had just pulled in and were unloading their car. When the woman went to move her car into the driveway, she noticed someone going through it.
