The suspect walked into Su's Beauty and Barber in Pflugerville on March 6, "backhanded" a female employee and stabbed two of the barbers, the affidavit said.

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police have arrested a man accused of stabbing two barbers and "backhanding" a female employee in the head, according to an arrest affidavit.

Bryan Anthony Turner, 27, walked into Su's Beauty and Barber in Pflugerville on March 6, "backhanded" a female employee and stabbed two of the barbers, the affidavit said.

According to the affidavit, Turner put out his hand toward the female employee as if he was going to shake her hand, then struck her on the right side of her head. One of the barbers went to help the woman and got into a fight with Turner, the affidavit said. During the altercation, Turner pulled out a four-inch-blade black knife and stabbed the barber in the neck. Another barber went to help and was stabbed in the arm, according to the affidavit.

Both barbers went to Round Rock hospital and are expected to be OK.

Turner was booked into Travis County Jail on two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The bond amounts for each charge were set at $60,000 apiece.
