39 arrested in alleged meth trafficking bust in Llano County, officials say

The arrests were made as a result of a seven-month joint investigation that targeted drug dealers in Llano County and surrounding areas, officials said.

LLANO COUNTY, Texas — The Llano County Sheriff's Office, DEA, Llano County District Attorney’s Office and DPS arrested 39 people on indictments and warrants for delivery or possession of controlled substance related charges, officials said in a press release.

The arrests were made as a result of a seven-month joint investigation that targeted drug dealers in Llano County and surrounding areas, officials said. Eight of the 20 people connected with this series of arrests were already in custody on other charges, according to the Llano County Sheriff's Office.

The district attorney's office said that by noon Thursday, about 20 people were arrested in the case. Thirty nine people suspected of trafficking methamphetamine have been arrested during the course of the investigation, officials said Friday.

Among those arrested Thursday were:

  • Tina Smith, 39
  • Coty Stacy, 38
  • Harlan McLeod, 35
  • Marion Marc Hanson, 46
  • Leslie Courtney, 46
  • Patricia Larose Long, 36
  • Candice Rachel Woody, 36
  • Thomas Preston Davis, 34

The suspects who were already in jail on other charges include:

  • Jeremy Elmer Helterbran, 37 (Llano Jail)
  • Pennie Joanna Hodge, 29 (Llano Jail)
  • Coquetta Elaine Morgan, 27 (Llano Jail)
  • Kalley Jo Odom, 36 (Llano Jail)
  • Robert Robinson, 62 (Llano Jail)
  • Tiffany House, 41 (Burnet Jail)
  • Ashley Varlade-Weyland, 34 (TDCJ)
  • Chance Adrian Adverse Braziel, 21 (Llano Jail)

Officials said they are still looking for seven suspects with outstanding warrants or indictments.
