The Riveter is a workspace designed by women that anyone can use

Unique features of the Austin workspace include a breastfeeding room and a stage for presentations.

AUSTIN, Texas — A workspace where you can build a community.

That was the goal behind The Riveter, a workspace designed by women for anyone to use.

The Riveter just opened its Austin location on West Fifth Street, two blocks west of Whole Foods.

Members have 24-hour access and can rent private offices or floating desks.

But what's different about this workspace is that it also offers programs for its members.

"We do have those members that were just joining us for those programs and our community, so you might work in corporate America or you might be at Facebook or Dell, but you want to be part of this incredible tribe," founder and CEO Amy Nelson said.

The Riveter also has a stage for presentations and a mothers' room for breastfeeding.

It's hosting a grand opening for the public this Wednesday, April 3 at 5:30 p.m.
