Round Rock Express home games where you can bring dogs, support 'school drives' and 'community awareness nights'

Round Rock Express released its 2020 home schedule, including which games pups can attend, drives the team is hosting, as well as community awareness nights.

ROUND ROCK, Texas — The 2020 minor league baseball season is just around the corner and the Round Rock Express has released its home schedule, including the fan-friendly events accompanying the games. 

At select Round Rock Express games, fans will be able to bring their furry friends, participate in drives benefiting local schools and organizations, attend post game concerts and more!

Here is a breakdown of the fun events Round Rock Express has lined up for its 2020 season: 

  • Opening Day: April 9 – first 2,500 fans get 2019 Astros American League champions replica ring. There will be post-game fireworks. 
  • April 11 – first 3,000 fans get a Round Rock Express cap. The Spazmatics perform in a post-game concert.
  • April 13Education Day. Dell Diamond transforms into the biggest classroom in Texas, complete with exhibits throughout the ballpark covering science, history, geography and math, as well as college admissions officers, recruiters,
    giveaways and more. 
  • April 22 Deaf Awareness Night. Proceeds benefit the Texas School for the Deaf
  • April 23Pints and Pups Night (first of six). Bring your pups to this dog-friendly game! 
  • April 24Star Wars Night. The Bud Light Friday Fireworks show will be set to iconic tunes from the Star Wars films.
  • April 25 – first 2,500 fans get a Nolan Ryan bobblehead!
  • April 26Reading Day for Spike's Reading Program. Team will hold a book drive benefiting Carver Elementary School. Make a donation and receive a voucher to exchange for two reserved tickets to a future Sunday-Thursday regular season 2020 game, subject to availability and some exclusions apply. 
  • April 27Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Day. Proceeds benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
  • May 7 – Pints and Pups Night (second of six). Bring your pups to this dog-friendly game! 
  • May 1690s Night with Zoodust post-game concert. 
  • May 17 –  Cancer Awareness Day. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
  • May 18Backpack Drive game. Team will hold a backpack drive benefiting Foster Angels of Central Texas. Make a donation and receive a voucher to exchange for two reserved tickets to a future Sunday-Thursday regular season 2020 game, subject to availability and some exclusions apply. 
  • May 22Tech & Gaming Night. Includes an appearance by Houston Astros mascot Orbit. Fans can stick around after the game for Bud Light Friday Fireworks.
  • May 23Prom Night. Fans are encouraged to dress up in their best prom garb for a fun night of music and dancing at the ballpark beginning at 7:05 p.m.
  • May 24Touch-a-Truck. Kids can get an up-close look at service vehicles from a variety of local agencies prior to the 1:05 p.m. game. Vehicles will be on display until approximately 2:30 p.m. A full list of vehicles included in the Touch-a-Truck event will be released as the date nears. 
  • May 25Military Appreciation Day. The Express will honor all branches of the United States Armed Forces during a moving nine innings of baseball on Memorial Day. 
  • June 3 Diabetes Awareness Night. Proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
  • June 4 – Pints and Pups Night (third of six). Bring your pups to this dog-friendly game! 
  • June 5Comic Con Night. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite comic book superheroes to celebrate the occasion. Following the game, Bud Light Friday Fireworks will light up the Central Texas sky with a Comic Con-themed show.
  • June 6 – first 3,000 fans get Express baseball card set. The Spazmatics perform in a post-game concert.
  • June 7Toy Drive game. Team will hold a toy drive benefiting The Salvation Army. Make a donation and receive a voucher to exchange for two reserved tickets to a future Sunday-Thursday regular season 2020 game, subject to availability and some exclusions apply. 
  • June 17Autism Awareness Night. Proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Texas.
  • June 20Win a Used Car Night.  Fans attending the game can enter a raffle to win a used car during select inning breaks, then stick around for a car-themed post-game fireworks show.
  • June 22Princess Night. Dell Diamond will transform into a royal palace as fans are encouraged to wear their best regal attire and keep their eyes open for princesses inside the ballpark
  • July 5School Supply Drive game. Team will hold a school supplies drive benefiting Round Rock ISD Partners in Education. Make a donation and receive a voucher to exchange for two reserved tickets to a future Sunday-Thursday regular season 2020 game, subject to availability and some exclusions apply. 
  • July 16 Pints and Pups Night (fourth of six). Bring your pups to this dog-friendly game! 
  • July 17 – first 2,500 fans get a Yordan Alvarez 2019 American League Rookie of the Year bobblehead. It will also be 2020 Hall of Fame Night. 
  • July 25 – first 2,500 fans get a Cat Osterman bobblehead for Olympics Night! 
  • August 5Cerebral Palsy Awareness Night. Proceeds benefit Cerebral Palsy Awareness Transition Hope.
  • August 9 – first 1,000 kids ages 12 and under get a Round Rock Express backpack
  • August 20 – Pints and Pups Night (fifth of six). Bring your pups to this dog-friendly game! 
  • August 21Office Night with celebrity appearance from Leslie David Baker. Office Night includes a celebrity appearance by Leslie David Baker, who played Stanley Hudson on the wildly popular TV series
  • August 22 – 80s Night with The Spazmatics post-game concert.
  • August 31Alzheimer's Awareness Night. Proceeds benefit Alzheimer's Texas.
  • September 3 – Pints and Pups Night (sixth of six). Bring your pups to this dog-friendly game! 
  • September 4 – first 5,000 fans get 2021 Round Rock Express magnet schedule.
  • September 7Children's Coat Drive game. Team will host a children's coat drive benefiting Coats for Kids. Bring one coat and get one general admission outfield lawn ticket to the game on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020.
