Movies in the Park
Austin has rescheduled its latest Movies in the Park event for Wednesday, May 14th. See Escape from New York. This a series of free films brought to you by the Austin Parks Foundation, and the Alamo Drafthouse. Each year, APF and the Drafthouse bring you totally free movies right in downtown Austin at Republic Square Park. Austin residents and visitors bring their blanket or lawn chairs (and often a picnic dinner!) for a fun and relaxing evening under the beautiful Austin night sky. Dogs, picnics, and lawn chairs are welcome. Alcoholic beverages, glass and Styrofoam are not permitted in the park.
The City of Kyle will show Monsters University Friday, May 16th at its Movies in the Park event. Movies begin 30 minutes after sunset and are shown at the amphitheater at Lake Kyle (click here for directions and map). Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Deutschen Pfest
Pflugerville's most popular pfestival, the Deutschen Pfest is held the third weekend in May every year! That s this weekend. The festival schedule is always bursting with pfun beginning on Friday with the event's opening, children's games and activities, shopping booths, Saturday's parade, live music, and thrilling rides at the carnival all weekend long!
