H-E-B Recall | H-E-B Bakery Two Bites Brownies recalled, potentially contain 'metal shards'

HEB has voluntarily recalled party trays and other items that have contained the brownie bites.

SAN ANTONIO — Editor's Note | The video above and below are from segments on other recalled foods.

H-E-B Bakery Two-Bite Brownies (12 oz) and H-E-B Simply Delicious Cookies with Brownie Bites Party Trays are being voluntarily recalled due to the possibility of metal shards in the product, according to the Texan supermarket chain.

Following an inquiry into two consumer complaints, H-E-B decided to issue the recall, according to the supermarket chain. The potentially contaminated products were made by a third-party vendor and delivered exclusively to H-E-B and Joe V's Smart Shop locations in parts of Texas and Mexico, as stated by the company.

The recall has resulted in the removal of all goods from store shelves, according to H-E-B. The supermarket chain says they will be putting the products back on the shelf as soon as they fulfill safety standards.
