P. Terry's expanding to Cedar Park and Bastrop, report says

Both Central Texas cities will host new locations in 2023.

AUSTIN, Texas — P. Terry's, an Austin fast-food favorite, is expanding even more, according to Austin Business Journal.

According to filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation obtained by the Austin Business Journal, the burger stand plans to open new locations in Bastrop, Cedar Park and East Austin in 2023.

Those locations will reportedly be at 484 State Highway 71 in Bastrop; 2425 E. Seventh St. in Austin; and 825 W. Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park.

Each location will cost $1.2 million, the filings said.

P. Terry's has come a long way since Kathy and Patrick Terry opened their first location on July 5, 2005, at the corner of South Lamar Boulevard and Barton Springs Road in South Austin. Since then, P. Terry's has opened an additional 21 locations, spanning the cities of Austin, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Lakeway, New Braunfels, San Marcos and San Antonio.

As of March of last year, KVUE reported that P. Terry's raised its minimum wage for all full-time employees to $15 per hour.
