It's one of the great mysteries of life, and one of the most frustrating: You put a pair of socks in the dryer, and only one of those socks comes out.
Why did it vanish? Where did they go?
One company said it's found a way to keep your socks together and your feet comfortable. We put SoleMate Magnetic Sox to the test on Does It Work Wednesday.
Each pair is supposed to not only be cool and comfortable, you can get them in bright colors, with monster designs and more.
The socks also have a magnet on the side, so they stick together through thick and thin.
KVUE's Quita Culpepper attached each pair of socks together and threw them into the dryer along with the rest of the laundry..
She also tried on a pair. These socks are made of bamboo thread, and very soft. They're also breathable, have a cushioned foot bed, sag-free sock top and reinforced heel and toe.
Once the dryer buzzer goes off, it's time to see if the socks are still together.
One pair did separate from one another. Both were easy to find, because they stuck to the side of the dryer.
And the two other SoleMate Sox stuck together like glue.
This product gets a "thumbs up" from Culpepper.
