LIST: Austin businesses closed for winter storm

Here’s a list of Austin spots that have closed their doors Thursday due to the winter weather conditions.

AUSTIN, Texas — As a winter storm continues to make its way through Central Texas, several Austin-area businesses have decided to close their doors for the day Thursday.

Here’s a list of Austin spots that either will not be open Thursday or will be opening late:

  • AGE of Central Texas
  • Animal World and Snake Farm Zoo
  • Antonelli's Cheese Shop
  • Atomic Tattoo (will reopen Friday at 11 a.m.)
  • Austin Beerworks
  • Austin Creative Reuse
  • Austin Gift Company
  • Austin Eastciders (both locations)
  • Austin Ninjas
  • Barbarella
  • Barnes and Noble (all Austin and Round Rock locations closed Thurs. and Fri.)
  • Bird Bird Biscuit
  • Cajun Skillet
  • Casa Costa Bakeshop
  • ChiLantro (all locations closed)
  • Crema Bakery
  • Doc's Drive-in Theatre
  • Dream Bakery
  • Easy Tiger (all locations closed Thursday)
  • Edible Arrangements (Bee Cave)

Additionally, H-E-B has announced that the following Central Texas locations will close at 5 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 8 a.m. Friday:

Officials are urging residents not to drive on local roads unless absolutely necessary due to icy conditions.
